              The Poet’s Toolkit: Line Breaks
              with Pat Valdata, poet & author
              The Poet’s Toolkit workshop will focus on one of the primary tools of the poet’s trade: the line break. We’ll explore how to make our poems more effective through the careful placement of line breaks, with plenty of examples and how-to tips. We will have time to write and time to read and comment on one poem from each participant. Helpful handouts will also be provided.
              You will be guided by award-winning poet and Elkton resident, Pat Valdata. 
              NOTE: please submit a poem to the instructor at least 24 hours before the workshop.
