              Almost four years ago, Philadelphia Daily News reporters Wendy Ruderman and Barbara Laker received the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Investigative Reporting for their 10-month series “Tainted Justice, an exposé of corruption that outed a rogue narcotics squad within the Philadelphia Police Department. Uncovering allegations against squad members that included lying on search warrants and robbing immigrant-owned bodegas, Ruderman and Laker ultimately drove a full-scale FBI probe. In their shocking and gripping new book, BUSTED: A Tale of Corruption and Betrayal in the City of Brotherly Love, the two working mothers reveal how they unveiled one of the biggest police corruption scandals in Philadelphia’s history.

              Join us for lunch and hear Ruderman and Laker explain the role journalism played in the bust.

              Ruderman and Laker will do a book signing following the luncheon.
