Handbuilding Tri-Footed Mugs
with Susan O’Hanlon, ceramicist
Imagine drinking your morning beverage from a mug you made yourself! We will turn slabs of clay into two beautiful tri-footed mugs. This project offers plenty of room for exploration and personalization, so each participant’s mugs will be uniquely their own. Class fee includes bisque and glaze firing charges as well as stoneware clay, use of artist’s tools, and single dip glazing by artist in food-safe studio glazes of your choosing. Pick up your finished pieces at The Palette & The Page when ready, or pay an additional fee to have your items carefully packed and shipped to your home. Bring a smock or wear older clothes, because we may get a little messy! Beginner / Intermediate Level - Some prior experience working with clay is recommended (but not necessary); participants ages 10-15 must be accompanied by a paying adult participant able to provide assistance as needed. Sorry, but this workshop is too complicated for most children under 10. Cost: $75
