Balloon Glow Gala

Tickets are now on sale for the sixth annual Balloon Glow Gala, a fundraiser to benefit SARC, the non-profit organization that helps victims of domestic violence. Against a stunning backdrop of lighted hot air balloons visible through the glass walls, guests will enjoy a full dinner and open bar, dancing to live music by "Don't Stop" the chance to participate in an exciting live auction and the opportunity to enter a raffle drawing for a $4,000 shopping spree courtesy of Saxon's Diamond Centers. The theme of the event is "There's No Place Like Home" and dress code is smart casual. The auction includes a wide variety of high-end items such as 'A Day in the Life with TV anchor Jamie Costello'; 'Girl's Night on the Town' featuring a 'celebrity' chauffeur, cocktails, dinner and entertainment in Baltimore; a Cessna sunset flight over Maryland with the opportunity to control the plane; plus private, catered gourmet dinners, a Disney vacation, Ocean City getaway packages, Ravens games, spa days, golf outings and much more. Auction item winners will be announced that night as will the shopping spree raffle winner. All proceeds from the SARC Balloon Glow Gala, silent auction and shopping spree raffle will allow SARC to continue to provide services to clients at no cost. Those services include legal representation, counseling and crisis intervention, a 28-bed safe house, a 24-hour help line and a 24-hour hospital companion service as well as community outreach and education regarding healthy relationships and domestic and sexual violence prevention.
