Meet the Staff
Laura Mayse, Executive Director
Laura joined the Cecil County Chamber of Commerce in January 2008. She is a graduate of the Wesley College and Cecil Leadership Institute. Laura is working towards her IOM certification with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. She currently serves on the Executive Board for BEPAC, the Board of Directors for the Cecil County Arts Council and Cecil Leadership Institute.
Laura is charged with leading our organization toward its vision, to become a trusted leader for business in a vibrant community. She is the primary staff liaison to the Chamber’s Board of Directors, Government Relations Committee and is your main contact for inquiries regarding the Chamber’s programs.
Katie Blankenship, Communications Director
Katie Blankenship joined the Cecil County Chamber of Commerce in January 2009 and in April 2010 she was named the Communications Director. Katie is responsible for the Chamber's marketing and public relations efforts, including the Chamber's social media outreach, weekly e-mail updates, and monthly newsletter. She plans the Chamber's premier annual events, such as the Annual Awards Gala, Chamber Golf Classic, Business Expo, and is your main contact for media inquiries.
Katie graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies.
